We'll provide:

• A detailed report (approx. 2,000 words)

• Insight into your manuscript's strengths and areas for improvement

• Focus on key elements like plot, characterisation, pacing, voice, theme, and story arc

This service gives you a bird's-eye view of how your story is working—and where it might need a nudge.

What's the Process?

After reading your full manuscript, we'll craft a clear, constructive report outlining what's working well and what may benefit from further development. We always highlight positives as well as areas for growth—supportive, honest feedback is our hallmark.

You'll also receive guidance on next steps, whether that's self-editing or moving forward with developmental or copy editing.

What Does It Cost?

Our manuscript critique service is £10 per 1,000 words. We offer discounted pricing for longer manuscripts, so please get in touch if your work is more than 90,000 words. A free sample critique is available for shorter works or select excerpts, and payment plans can be arranged.
